FALL IN LINE WITH KARMIC HAPPENINGS

Often, we pursue goals and desires that are unrealistic. We pursue them with faith and determination hoping that persistence will yield results, which is not a bad thing. However, when the goal seems distant we should not bang our heads against the wall in frustration.
Osho said "No matter what you do, life turns out the way it turns out. Struggling with life does not help at all".

A miracle must happen. But when it does not, the best thing to do is to fall in line with karmic happenings. Destiny has a role and is subject to certain limitations. I once asked my guru, "Can you change the destiny of your disciple?" The answer was "Why? A true guru will not interfere with the karmic destiny of his disciple. He will only help him spiritually". A young, talented girl who was frustrated with unrequited love, asked her guru: "Why doesn't God answer my prayers?" The guru replied, "If a child wants to play with a knife, will his mother give it to him even if he throws a tantrum? No.

While working out your destiny, you might come across better choices. May be there is something better in store for you.
Let go. Start afresh before the hurt becomes a wound".

In the pursuit of our dreams we encounter delays, blockages and obstructions. We throw up our hands in frustration and scream "Why can't i do it?" Don't push yourself against an unyielding wall. Take time off. Create a space. For on this journey, there are waiting rooms, transit lounges, and change of tyre on the way. Time, trust and tryst must synchronise with yield fulfilment. By that time you may have discovered a new purpose, a new goal, or even a new obsession. You may even find a spot of bliss.

Sahaj subah jo hoe so ho. When you fall in line with your karmic destiny, life is lived effortlessly.
It is said that happiness lies in the rhythm of life. Life is a flow. Cascade over the obstacles.

The rhythm of life gains grace and agility, when you move on without the baggage of frustration. Frustration can be as small as a prolonged wait for a raise in your salary or it may be as shattering as failure in a deep relationship. Frustration is self-consuming.

Effort has great value. But effort should be productive. Follow the law of least wastage. Despite that if things go wrong, follow the law of substitution. When nothing seems to work, follow the law of acceptance. Believe that whatever is in your destiny, acceptance becomes necessary.

Often, when you cooperate with your karmic destiny and internalise the law of acceptance, things just start happening. Your inner struggle is over. And your goals and intense desires are fulfilled in a mystical way.

I read this somewhere, and posting it as it is.....

Are you raising a brat

This was the heading of an article i read some time back...its a very valid question, because children dont become so automatically, they are moulded by parents. Recently i read certain guidelines from Mahatria of Ra too..like from the beginning children should be told that home is an organised place, where there is a place for everything, everything should be put in a proper designated place.

Parents should not fulfil all their children's demands, they should learn to accept NO..It makes them resilient in life and more accepting of problems, difficulties.

Pampering the children shouldnt be because you have money and affordability..NO,children should be taught the value of money, if they are given things at the drop of hat, they dont understand the value of anything, instead they will grow up to be unsatisfied human beings all the time, in spite of getting everything..

Children should see their parents behaving and living the values they teach

It is never the things which make a childhood beautiful..its parents involvement, love and time..instead of giving them everything materialistic, involve them in playing, hobbies and sometimes sharing also with not so privileged ones...

Memoirs Of A Geisha by Arthur Golden

This is a beautiful description of age old tradition of Japan. Everything is written with minutest details and in a very interesting way. The reader feels the pain, difficulties and excitement everything happening in the life of the protagonist Sayuri.I would recommend it to every body who is interested in oriental way of living..

Country Of Deceit..Shashi Deshpande
I like her one book , so order all they had..like Ships that sailIf I die today,Matter of time and the present one.all her stories are written from a woman's point of view and look inside out. The women are normal with all the good and bad associated with human beings.
In this one Devyaani comes to Rajnaur after her parents death and its about her life living alone in a house and people surrounding her,..her sister who married in love and finds difficult to match wits with her MIL, her aunt, who is dying of cancer and is bohemian in some ways,Rani a film heroin who comes to live in the neighbourhood and many more different type of people, but one special one is Ashok an IPS officer married with a daughter who fall for her and vice versa. She who is always righteous and doesnt believe in breaking homes, is hopelessly in love with a married man...the story is about how she decides what to do..what her near and dear ones take on this relationship and all. Written in a very interesting way, its a very good book, compels one to think what is right and good in life and many more dilemmas..worth a read....The writer always brings a local flavour to the characters and ambiance..its very appealing....like can we love after lot of thinking..is it possible to fall in love with premeditation..and if its natural then why moral bindings?

What's Happening

We often focus on trying to change an event or circumstance,
when we really need to change the habits that caused it.

Often bad things that happen to us have happened before.

If we change the pattern, we keep it from happening again.

Work on your habits if you want to change what's happening.

Above is a thought I read and realised that its so true.like..

We keep criticising govts. but what is govt..a conglomerate of people only and they are chosen by us, so we must do two things first, we should choose carefully, secondly whatever qualities we want to see in them, we must cultivate in ourselves..

Many girls criticise their in laws for the problems in their life, but they should realise that they themselves are either lazy or rude or miser or have not integrated themselves with their new family and if they change themselves they wouldnt have any stress in life from them, because most of the complaints are there for the lack of these qualities.

Many old women have problems with their DILs but they should realise that times have changed and so if they become non interfering and let the girls lead their own life..there woundnt be any dissent.

Here i am talking about people who want to be good in life and do good not those cruel selfish persons..for them there is no other way to life..

AB KI BAAR MODI SARKAR:)

Today i am feeling so happy that i have to document it on my blog.Though i am not a political person. I always believe in fair dealing, good governance ,justice to all and appeasement to none. There have been very few politicians I have admired and adulated..after Indira Gandhi, I adulated two people only..( There was a time when I liked Promod Mahajan too, specially for his quote that he wanted to see one day everybody paying in rupees in NYC) Chandra babu naidu and Narendra Modi and both have risen and HOW....

In election campaign, people using abusing language and everything horrific for Modi infuriated me..fight fairly, dont malign the people unnecessarily..dont get personal...

It was Chandra Babu Naidu who brought Hyderabad on world map, and people forgot him. Today people say that Modi didnt do anything in Gujarat, it was always developed, but tell me if it was like that why people there voted for him so whole heartedly?     We Indians are very stingy while giving credit but generous when it comes to criticise.

Most of all I am happy that Indian voter is aware and cant be fooled any more. And now we must all join to build our nation.

I hope that Modiji will not join the band wagon of freebies, reservations.

Stress,,can we prevent it...

Whenever we talk about stress people think about how to cure it, only if we thought of why it happens and what to do to prevent it..
There are many reasons for stress in life..mainly..

In relationships.the other side either doesnt behave right or the way we want them too...so the first thing is to think about it..are our expectations too much or not in sync with the times, or that person is lacking in values. If it is first then we must change ourselves, and if it is the second, we must accept it as our destiny, without any thought about changing them or our expectations. But we must behave rightly...

In our life in general we feel stressed that we are not getting what we should..here also , we cant judge our value ourselves, most of the time we get what we deserve, but if we are getting exploited, then think...what are we doing to make it possible..is it our behaviour or inefficiency in our work, and work harder to remove that hurdle. Atleast we shall have the satisfaction of having done our best.

Most of the time, there is something lacking in our efforts..be it hard work, knowledge, perseverance or coordination that stops us from reaching our best potential.

It is always necessary to plan life and be prepared for contingencies...financially and physically..I have seen many people who spend without thinking and no planning for future and then stress out.

The biggest stress creator in life are few habits like complacency, procastrination and sloth...hard working people get less stressed out.

Being on the right side in life may make you work harder, you may have to sacrifice a few things but it always reduces the stress.

Then there is that famous prayer..

God grant me the serenity
to accept the things I cannot change;
courage to change the things I can;
and wisdom to know the difference.

SHARE THE LANGUAGE OF LOVE

I remember my childhood when we hardly had any toys, it was either dolls or playing outside. But today in the market, the variety of toys, games and everything is so vast and amazing that its difficult to decide what to buy. and when you check the rates, your eyes pop:).Whenever  I go out and buy balloons or something like that for my children and then see that the sellers are also children, my heart goes out to them. Here are our children who are never satisfied with their toys and games and enjoyment and are always demanding something new and better and there are these children who are neither getting the pampering, nor toys, instead working hard to get even food, whereas our children throw so many tantrums for eating even..
I always think what can we do..I know that I am not a big person to do something big, but this time when i came from my son's place I brought back a few of my grand child's toys which were as good as new and gave them to the children in Nethaji Mercy Home. When my child demanded a air filled penguin, i got it for him, but when I saw that his mother didnt like it much, I didnt hesitate a second in giving that to the above orphanage and believe me, it gave me the same or even more happiness than if my child had played with it.
So when i came across an initiative by Johnson's Baby about sharing your children;s things with unprivileged children, I was so happy...We cant do much, but this is the least every mother can do..sharing you child's used toys, books and clothes. It gives a lot of happiness to the giver and brings some sunshine into other's life too...and children too learn something good. When from their childhood they see the sharing, it becomes for them the way of life..
These people have partnered with GOONJ..one NGO I have always admired and sometimes contributed too to their collection campaign. Life is nothing if its not about sharing..sharing with your loved one brings you momentary pleasure, but sharing to these unfortunate kids gives you so much satisfaction and long term happy state of mind.

DAKSHIN CHITRA

Dakshin chitra is around 30 km. from Chennai on east coast road.We went through the most beautiful scenery around us,tall trees on the sides and lush greenery all around.I love nature and feel very good when we are near nature. This place has a parking and entry ticket of Rs.50/adult for Indians and Rs175/ per adult for foreigners. At the entrance only there is a souvenir shop which sells beautiful handicrafts, cosmetic jewellery, clothes etc. At the starting point is the restaurant serving snacks, soft drinks and buffet for lunch.
Inside amidst the vast open spaces there are houses from Tamilnadu, Kerala, karnataka and Andhra, showing us their way of living. In the process we come to see Ikkat work, tanjore paintings, Kanchipuram saris in the weavers house, granary, potters house and many more. This is all very fascinating and gives us a lot of knowledge about the materials used for building houses, their management of natural calamities and environment. All this with lot of entertainment. There are many craft activities like pottery, kolam, puppet making, glass blowing, mehandi, painting and many more which one can see and try also with a token payment.
In between there is a craft bazar also selling many beautiful items.
All in all the place is certainly worth a visit and I enjoyed a lot because I like to see all the heritage things, even when I went to US I enjoyed looking at the heritage houses in Cincinnati.

Are you a Reason, a Season, or a Lifetime?

Are you a Reason, a Season, or a Lifetime?
Pay attention to what you read. After you read this, you will know the reason it was sent to you!People come into your life for a reason, a season, or a lifetime. When you figure out which one it is, you will know what to do for each person.

REASON:
When someone is in your life for a REASON. . .It is usually to meet a need you have expressed.
They have come to assist you through a difficulty, to provide you with guidance and support, to aid you physically, emotionally, or spiritually.
They may seem like a godsend, and they are! They are there for the reason you need them to be.
Then, without any wrong doing on your part or at an inconvenient time, this person will say or do something to bring the relationship to an end.
Sometimes they die
.Sometimes they walk away.
Sometimes they act up and force you to take a stand.
What we must realize is that our need has been met, our desire fulfilled, their work is done. The prayer you sent up has been answered. And now it is time to move on.

SEASON:
When people come into your life for a SEASON it is because your turn has come to share, grow, or learn.
They bring you an experience of peace or make you laugh.
They may teach you something you have never done.
They usually give you an unbelievable amount of joy.
Believe it! It is real! But, only for a season.

LIFETIME:
LIFETIME relationships teach you lifetime lessons; things you must build upon in order to have a solid emotional foundation.
Your job is to accept the lesson, love the person, and put what you have learned to use in all other relationships and areas of your life.
It is said that love is blind but friendship is clairvoyant.
Thank you for being a part of my life.
Stop here and just SMILE.

Work like you don't need the money
.Love like you've never been hurt.
And dance like no one is watching.

Isnt it worth reading ? I got it from an spiritual site and just loved it, a very good interpretation of people and relationships and I think it is true also.
