NEW YEAR

There is this friend of ours who is such a fun loving person..actually thats the reason my husband got close to him..he is fun to be with and enjoys life to the hilt.Suddenly he got a jolt..one normal day he got some headache and then couldnt stand and was hospitalised..He had a stroke which doctors didnt realise initially..and then he was in ICU.he couldnt eat, speak or stand.....but thankfully now he is OK and recovering.

His son who is settled in US came immediately and here for 7 weeks and when we went to see him we met him and I came back so impressed..

That young man was so good in all respects.like he was so caring towards his father mother, doing everything like bringing tea, cold drink, snacks to us with so much ease. He was dressed in a very nice T and pant/pyjamas, he talked to nicely and intelligently,...what i really loved was

His dressing sense..I like to see people in neat dress, normally people coming from abroad think as if they have come to a slum and they dont need to dress properly here, or they dont give anybody importance...In my opinion we give importance to the host/guest by dressing properly.

No arrogance or I know everything attitude.which i see so common in people today.sometimes I really get fed up with people who keep arguing in the group.

He has completed the TRIATHLON IRON MAN

Very well mannered..came to see us off,sat there talking to us, got us cold drinks, snacks very properly and his attitude towards his parents...filled me with admiration and for me the new year starts with a very positive note that still we have good people who outnumber the others...we havent lost our culture and all.

WISHING YOU ALL A VERY HAPPY AND FULFILLING NEW YEAR!!!

The event TRIATHLON IRON MAN seems very tough and daunting indeed.Hats off to this young man for having successfully accomplished it.Very pleased to hear that despite his creditable achievement, he was gentle and humble.
Best wishes for a happy 2012 to you and your family

It is really great to see someone take good care of their parents. We ought to take care of our parents. Only parents can love their children unconditionally.

Happy 2012. May you be joyous, peaceful and harmonious.

Quite a feat made by the young man... cos he has managed to change your opinion of his generation by his lone simple and humble self. Salute to this young person. May there be more like him.

And a Happy New Year to you and your family, Renu! Blessings abound to bring joy to your heart this year and onwards. God bless you.

Happy New Year, Renu. It is always nice to meet people who care, most of all, for their own parents.

Just goes to prove that one should not arrive at conclusions based on whether a person is an NRI or a resident. Not all Resident Indians are saints and not all NRI's are sinners!

happy new year Runu..
thanks ,,but let me tell you being an NRI ..I always give due respect to whosoever ..even to the maid of our house in india .. its not as such ..mostly I see people in india behaving very arrogantly with servants..which is not understood till date!
every person is different ..not all
NRI's are same ..as all indians r not same!

Sometimes we do come across such good people, and we feel they have really made our day. Recently my sister too was saying before her sister in law dies , she was very sick, and it was her daughter in law who took good care of her, leaving her own family to fend for themselves, relocating to a different place just to be with her mil, making her feel as comfortable as possible, for nearly 1 year and was by her side till her death.
There are many people like that, and their affection stems out of the affection, they are given by the people.
Happy New Year Renu!
