Hyderabad tragedy

Since Hyderabad tragedy happened, whenever I open the net I see people crying horse.. we want justice.. among them there are many who don’t even know what is just. It is sad to see people trying to get publicity thru this also.
But ask these ladies how many offer to escort their maids home when they are going late? Leave aside that they won’t even give rickshaw  money.
If we look around , we can do so much but we prefer to leave every responsibility on others.
Many affluent people never teach any boundaries to their adolescent spns, they give them vehicles without licence, they let them drink without any limits, and leave them free to enjoy. Life is not for enjoyment only, for a civilised world we need to look for others comfort also, like when I was in Delhi, behaviour of youngsters spoiled my fun so many times... loudly talking, following the cars, even if they didn’t do anything, they made somebody uncomfortable, and it shouldn’t be allowed by parents.
Those who are economically down, they feel righteous in not taking any responsibility at all and this is the most dangerous trait. Just because you don’t have too much money, it doesn’t mean you shouldn’t teach and regulations to your children. Human values, and social norms equally apply to all.
Biggest responsibility lies with women, as they bring the kids up and they should teach their wards to respect women rich or poor. But what they do.. nothing , just protests, these incidents bring shame to all mothers too. When mothers are glorified, they take it in their stride and bask in the glory, but where are they now? Stand up and accept that you have fails the nation.

Parents

Parents..such an iconic reverent word, but are all parents really deserve it or even they give any pleasure to their children, I don’t think so. Parents also have categories, we can divide them into thee type according to their economical status.
1- Wealthy ones... here children most of the time are disciplined and listen to their parents because all life’s luxuries come from them and parents also demand almost nothing, as they have everything. Here money speaks , so no problem.
Second comes middle class one., area with most problems. Parent do care for the children but demand and exact  their pound of flesh like Shylock. Children are forever indebted, never allowed to breathe without permission. In this category parents do less and take forever , nothing graceful about it but still they are revered.. they create havoc in  adult children married life, but so what they are parents. In fact I have seen them bringing so much misery to their own offspring that I doubt how they could be called parents.

Third one is lower class.. here one has to fend for one self ., parents are more worried about food and shelter than other trivia,.. so not much debt here or there, they do whatever is possible and take whatever is given, no demands.. may b the best situation.

Kabir Singh

There was so much debate going on about misogyny in Kabir Singh, so today I decided to see as audience was liking it unanimously. It’s a beautiful love story. Kabir Singh is a medical student who is outstanding in sports and academics but has anger management problem. If somebody needles him, he man handles. When he is asked to apologise or leave, he chooses to leave but then he sees a new student Preeti and it’s love at first sight and he doesn’t leave. Preeti , father asks him to look after her. She also falls for him and their relationship goes on even when he goes for masters.
But g’ father doesn’t accept Kabir and abuses him and marries her to a boy of his choice. Kabir destroys himself as he becomes alcoholic and drug addict, womaniser etc.. he doesn’t cheat anybody. Nor he lies.if he slaps Preeti once, she also slaps him, where is misogyny?

It’s pure love, he loves her before marriage and after marriage too and wants to give her child his name though later it comes out that it’s his only.

He sleeps with many women but never promises them any relationship. In today’s world it’s not so shocking..he has a flaw in his personality that is anger management but then who doesn’t have any? Rest all should be taken as a pinch of salt.. after all it’s a movie and should be entertaining which it is with some good songs, good acting..

Third and last day

suddenly we got up late and when we saw it’s 9 we rushed to ho for breakfast and after that we got ready to checkout. Left our luggage there and went fro see the city. Now took a boat tour, it was included in our hop on hop off ticket. Through this for two hours they showed us us the full city. Here all the houses are made on marshy land , so they are quite closely constructed and at some places they are stilted too. Then in the lake there are houses on the lake like houseboat but now the goby has stopped permission for that so they are quite expensive.. we got doe T penulttststation and walked from there to dams dwurd. And had our lunch at an Italian restaurNtsnd it was b good. Now some of my observations in trip, may be helpful in planning a trip.
Flight or trItdepends from the place u r going and trains are quite comfortthere.
Stay near centraal railway start will save u time because all the tours start from there.
While buying tickets for the tour , if u combine the tickets u get a discount.Like zhaanse  Shaans was for 59€ and hop on hop off with bus and boat both was 29€ but combined together she gaye us for 75 with the caveat that we take zhaanse schanse that day only.. we did that.
Food is quite reasonable there.. plus their main store is on all the railway stations , so one should buy drinks fruits and snacks from there to take along.
Indian restaurants are also there.
Public transport is very comfortable and easy to get   So buy the ticket for ur whole stay, sane ticket is valid in train and metro both and bus.
Once u take that you don’t have to take even hop on hop off.
Found the best souvenirs at Volendam during our trip to zhaanse Shane’s.

Amsterdam. 2nd day

Fist day we did so much of walking ( almost 16000syeps) so next day we started with canal tour. It was for one hour and 16 € per person. We started with Centraal station and he took us around the whole city. This city has more than hundred canals.. and houses just on the bank of canals.. so beautiful. Even in canals houseboats type houses are there on both sides. They are permanent homes and quite expensive because now govt has stopped the permission any more. Here we see cycles all around.. on canal banks, trees everywhere they are parked and locked. I have never seen such big no of bicycles anywhere else in my life. Most of the people use bicycle as their means of transport in city.
Here the houses are built on marshy lands , so sometimes they sag or tilt also.

After finishing the tour we walked around dams square and had lunch. It was a nice veg burger with lots of vegetable. Here most of the places toilets are chargeable ( 50 cents). And McDonald’s is very cheap but it doesn’t have veg burger, we took only softy and it was only 1€..
After this we took hop on ho odytour, it’s valid for 25 hrs and we took it combined one ., means we could use both boat and bus. It was 29 € per person. So first we took a round sitting and seeing. It takes you to Rembrandt, Van Gogh and Rijvik museum.., redlight secret, maritime museum, etc and all have depart entry fee,and yes heinkein experience, then Hassan diamonds where they show polishing of diamonds, and one could buy also.
In the next round we got down at Jardin and took a stroll to flea market and then two stores HEMA and one more and then time was up, so came back to Centraal and had dinner and went back to hotel.
We took

Amsterdam...I day

Today we started our trip to Amsterdam. From Zurich  took a morning flight to Amsterdam and reached there by nine. And lo., there was public transport strike and we had to take a taxi to our hotel.. Novotel at Europa Boulevard. Here I would suggest everyone that it would be better to take a hotel near centrum.. Railway station because taxi is quite expensive, we paid 40 euro from airport to hotel and evertime from hotel to centrum it was 45 € .
From the centrum we walked to dams square and walked around the town had lunch and took a tour to Zaanse schans around 2.45 Pm. It’s ticket was 59€ per person. We started with wind mills tour. Wind mills are used to make so many things even oil, people live there.. like in half house and half is their working are.. it was extraordinarily beautiful place. I could see in dreams only..
This city is 30 meters below sea let, so to make ground habitable, lots of management was done in 1932 and still do . Since the ground is not very conducive to crops they do cattle farming.. and lots of cheese is manufactured here.we see the cheese making process in Volendam and many people buy also. There was homemade ice cream and waffles there it was yummy. After that we take a cruise to aMerken island. It is a Dutch hamlet initially inhabited by poor fisherman.. there houses look beautiful in just 2 colours green and black and it is because they couldn’t afford to buy paint they could make black by tar and green by plants.these house are made differently... ground floor in brick and first floor in wood due to marshy land. Here they make wood clogs and it’s a beautiful art.
Their management of resources made me realise how much we can do in our country. They have changed the salty ocean water to seeet water lake.

Mount Rigi

We had a day trip to Mountain Rigi. It’s a one hour car journey to to a town called Grandau , there we parked the car and ther just in front of that is Rigi Bahn. From there we took tickets and took the cog wheel train to the top. Tickets are quite high here, it was 72 CHF per adult. Journey is quite like Ooty train except that here you can see a beautiful landscape.cleanliness and maintenance standard so high here but for that you need good administration as well as  discipline among people. Secondly in our country we don’t want to pay for anything, for every hike in any ticket there is a protest, one can’t get best of anything free.
On the way there are four stations in between and then we reach the top and it’s a spacious view point with space to lounge around and a restaurant.

Manikarnika and Uri

This month I saw two very special movies and I have to write about them.
First Manikarnika.. story of Lakshmi bai, who doesn’t know.. khoob ladi  Mardani  woh to Jhansi waali raani thi.. I read about her in childhood and here she was in flesh and blood in the form of Kangana. Kangana just rocks here, her portrayal of such iconic character gave me goosebumps., she is so real  and the story has been told in a very entertaining way, not too jingoistic even. In fact all the characters like Ankita as Jhalkari Bai, Danny as baba Gauz , Jisshu Sengupta as Gangadhar Rao and all others like Kulbhushan Kharbanda , Suresh Oberoi Atul Kulkarni Zeeshan Ayub, they are all so fitting in their characters that they become one. It’s a must watch movie for this generation to know how much sacrifices were done to get this freedom which is being abused today. Kangana towers over everything like a shining star.

Second one was Uri about surgical strike, and it’s USP is that it’s a true story, it shows the bravery of our army and how we sleep because of them, Vicky Kaushal as the leader who is perfect in planning is so perfect in his role that we came out with.. How is the josh? High sir!bith the movies have one thing in common, first one has no typical hero and second one has no typical heroine, in both the main responsibility lies with one person and both of them have excelled.

Ajanta Ellora

Last week we made a trip to Aurangabad. We had a direct flight from here.we stayed in Lemon tree hotel and liked it. It’s totally value for...
