Just the other day I was discussing with my hubby about AAP and their national ambition and the next day I got endorsement for my views in an article in TOI.I admire them and feel good that they are there but for them to have a pan India ambition within four months..isnt it too much, too early? and will it do any good to the country?..NO..I dont think so, if they are really thinking of the country , then they must ponder upon it. Because the best they will be able to do is put a spoke in Modi:s fight, nothing more and they will bring a fractured mandate and khichdi govt...again the same inactive one because of multiple partners with their own agendas and country will again go the dogs.
They must concentrate on what they have got and try to bring something good in Delhi instead of giving freebies and stretching themselves beyond.Bringing Modi is the only way to have a stable govt at the centre and the one who is effective.We have tried congress for so many years and coalition govts also, now they also deserve a chance,we must try them,if they dont deliver there is always a chance to throw them out after 5 years.

Looking at it rationally you are absolutely right. Yet before Delhi elections no one dreamed AAP would get more than 3 or 4 seats.
So lets hope for the best :)
Agree totally to your post. Any Govt. at the center should be thrown out if they don't deliver.
Dilip: AAP has got good seats but not the majority...they have made a minority govt always vulnerable to many things...

I ‘m a skeptic and here with the AAP too I’m no different. I wish I will be proved wrong. However an AAP experiment is worth the trouble. They may have decided on a pan India plan because of the general elections round soon.
Even with the BJP there cannot be a single party govt. They will have to depend upon the NDA constituents. As for the dynastic party well they must be shown the door. Then what kinds of stability are we talking of with a man of visceral hate at the helm? We had almost 12 years of government that was stable. I see the atmosphere ripe in India (peoples psyche) similar to what it was in Germany in the years that ran up to the rise of Adolf Hitler. A country torn by war and people swayed by xenophobic ideology and promise of a great tomorrow. The result is in the history itself.
As long as we do not have a national party that can influence voters throughout the country there cannot be any government without coalition politics
AAP is just fooling the people...they want to do parenting before they have become parents. Why are they in a hurry...power lovers...once spoke ill against the Congress...now with them.
We need a stable govt in this country and a National party can deliver...they have experience with them...and Cong gave us all the surprises in the wrong way all these years. So alert people will choose the right party who has a strong leader to lead this country.

Modi may have some bad qualities, but he has certain good ones too which are badly needed in today's times.
Ashwini CN:Change is certain, now the question is whether for a khichdi, indecisive and immature one or a stable decisive govt.
GAuri Guha:very true...if AAP gets too ambitious, too early, they will dig their own grave,and it wont be good for the country too..I just hope better sense prevails on the voters this time..
I am slowly losing interest in the AAP, for it seems to have no proper planning and still wants to go ahead with general elections. They have just a handful of leaders, and the people who have joined them recently have started to talk against their policies,people make random statements without thinking, and their law minister is a crook who should be thrown out the party. And that Binny fellow too should be thrown out.
It is true we do need a change but not such a party that might break up in no time. Arvind maybe good but the people who are around him are very inexperienced and immatured, they all need to sit in the opposition for a few years, build up their party and only then they should think of forming a government in the center.
Each of their party leaders think they can talk and do whatever they like.
Modi is not a saint, and the congress is full of corrupt people, and we can't even think of lalu and mulayam and the mamtas and the mayavatis.
Well, we can't tell AAP what to do, I suppose. Reading about how their ministers have been behaving these past few days does not inspire confidence in them.
Personally I agree with you that they should concentrate on governing Delhi for now.
But let us wait and see how they conduct themselves in the future.
Rama:In today's time its futile to expect an ideal leader, I find Modi.the best alternative presently. AAP need to consolidate first then move forward.
