BLOOD MONEY

This is a small budget movie but quite interesting. Its about a young man who gets a job in Cape town, when he reaches there he gets an opulent bungalow and all the luxuries of life, which somewhere strikes unusual to his young wife. The young boy finds favour with his boss due to his sharp mind and intelligence and then he is trapped in the deceit, as his boss is a diamond dealer to the outside but is working in tandem with terrorist and mafia. How he finds a way out is good to watch. Somewhere in the middle the story looses the grip and goes very slow but picks up in the end. Main high light of this movie is Kunal Khemu and beauty of cape town.Kunal is very good in this role, the role needed him to be strong yet vulnerable, and he does it with aplomb.Amrita Puri  is a week link, neither she looks beautiful, nor can act...worth a watch movie, though in such movies its very difficult to show a way out of the mess..something next to impossible and difficult to make it look possible even.

Recently i saw Ek Main Aur Ek TU. The movie is about a boy (Imran Khan).son of a wealthy dominating parents(Boman Irani and Rathan pathak) and a girl ( kareena kapoor) from a fun loving Christian family. Both are quite opposite in nature, both work in Vegas,( taken a lot from What Happend In vegas) get married while drunk, and then how the boy changes.....first half of the movie is total fun ,but in the second half, it just drags, they have tried to do a different ending, but didnt know what to do.And this story again shows us the pitfalls of boy girl friendship...can it be without love entering and messing up their lives? or giving heart break to one? There are many cliches too like christian family is into fun and dancing and very open with children, wealthy parents dominating their children..Now a days in most of the movies they start with a good point, but dont know how to forward it...no way out sort. They show rich people's wife as nymphos very regularly, are they real?..I dont seem to anyone like the wife of rich Ram kapoor's , as they have shown in the movie...openly trying to seduce or should i say Molest Imran Khan...as he is the son of their friend's.
Kareena has literally lighted up the screen, Imran is OK

Haven't seen either of these movies. I have seen 'What Happened in Vegas' though so perhaps I won't find Ek Main Aur Ek Tu too interesting.

Blood Money sounds interesting- I'll try to see it.

Blood Money is inspired from the Novel based movie "THE Firm" by John Grisham and later made into a movie starring Tom Cruise!

I haven't seen blood money, but I feel similarly about Ek main aur ek tu. It started well but then the storyline just went haywire.
