What I wish

Sometimes I envy my hubby..yes:)..it is true..he gets up in the morning, without any worry about cooking, comes to the table and his breakfast is there:)...comeback in the evening and somebody is right there to give you hot tea, snacks ,fruits and prepares your favourite dishes in the dinner and all with love and smile and caring ways..I long to have even 15 days in a year to spend like that...

Sometimes I envy my MIL too..she doesnt need to bother for anything, like grocery, vegetable and fruits..all stocking, no cooking, no budgets, repairs, or commitments, and gets all her breakfast, tea, mil lunch dinner everything in time..come on the table..its ready. She doesnt have to remember when to take the medicine, somebody is there to give her, do her laundry and take care of every chore....

But I would  like to live like that Maami Sandhya wrote about...Living independently at the age of 88 and being helping to all and sundry...Thats my wish ultimately:) and I hope I get it.

My wish is to leave this world by the age of 65, I think by that time I would have done whatever is possible to be done or left undone and be ready to finish my journey in this place called earth.
My mother passed away while she was just 63, and I pray that I have some of her genes to leave this world at the right time.
Though I have a very helpful husband, yet I feel I should never be left to hang on irrespective of whether I stay healthy or not.
Everyday I also pray that I don't end up like my father(who is independent)who is carrying on still at 93.

You are a strong minded lady and you will be independent always, Renu! Everything is in the mind! Until then, let us serve all!

Amrita: Kya baat kahi ha Amrita:):):)...Though my husband is very caring, but for sometime in a year I feel like going somewhere and living carefree..

deeps: grass is alway greener on the other side:)

Rama: Even I dont want to live such a long life like my MIL, she is 98,..I alway want to bring happiness to everyone around, but extraordinary long life brings so much of problems to themselves old children and when they themselves need caring, its so irritating to care..

SG: Thanks SG..even I hope so:)

Sandhya: Thanks Sandhya! Thats true, but rarely I get support for my ideas in my family..

I think you are speaking on behalf on so many of us! I understand how you feel. Mostly I would love for someone to make me a cup of tea :-) I think if our husband's switched with us, they would be running back to their office!

Grass is always greener on the other side of the fence. I sometimes wish I could be a housewife and not have to manage both home and office, but I know I will start missing office if I stayed home. :)
