HUM TUM AUR GHOST

Yesterday I saw..HAM TUM AUR GHOST and I wanted to share my experience with you all..this is a wonderful movie with a unique idea..Arshad Warsi is a fashion photographer in love with Diya Mirja (daughter of a business tycoon who is as usual against this match), Sandhya Mridul is assisting Arshad. Problem arises when Arshad starts listening some voices and then sees spirits..and then the movie takes very different turn..he comes to know that all of them want him to help in something or else.all that is very emotional and heart wrenching to see..and it gives a very warm message that even after death, our loved ones cant live in peace if we are unhappy.
Loved everything about the movie..acting of all the stars is good..Boman as the main communicator of spirits is just OK..Only thing I couldnt digest was..when Diya doubts the relationship between Arshad and Sandhya, Sandhya says that she is gay..why couldnt they show two people of opposite sex could be simply friends also, why she has to be gay to be a friend.

Over all I worth a watch...good movie, quite entertaining.

Renu, I think my list of "must-watch" movies is increasing like there is no tomorrow!

Yes, when people whom we love die, a part within us dies too. We need to move forward. I wanted to share a small experience with you. A few years ago, my friends boy-friend had died. My friend was so madly in love with him that she used to go to that cemetery every day for 6 months to cry her heart out. No kidding...6 months! and every single day! Its only after was convinced that she is making her ex-boyfriend unsettled did she stop going there. She wasn't hearing any spirits and all...she just felt it one fine day.

And these days people seriously believe that platonic relationships arent possible...I am with you though. It is possible.

Amrita; Yes its good, and Arshad wont disappoint you, go and see:)

Chanz: it released recently only.

Madhu: This is really woth a watch.
Once i read Garun Puran..this is read in north whenevr there is death in the house. It is written there that when departed souls see their family crying unconsolably, they feel very sad and since they cant do anything, their grief is more....so its always better even for the deoarted dear ones if we continue our life.

I think that platonic relationships are possible, one only needs strong character.

nitwit: yeah Garima...it is:)..very sweet love story with a difference.

To be honest, all the reviews I read about this movie on various sites were sooo bad that I almost immediately forgot abt this movie! Infact, it was declared a box office dud! Poor Arshad, coz this was his production debut.

Anyway, will be patient and watch it coz your review sure is postive :)

I think the question wasn't whether a boy and girl can be friends, it was more to ease the insecurities of Diya that Sandhya must have said she is gay. Jealousy is tough in the beginning stages of a relationship! Just a thought and I ain't a pro! :p

Great review ...

Chandrika Shubham: When you watch, tell me how did you like it.

Sparkling;I also read all those reviews and was surprised when I saw the movie....so many times I have seen that some movies are very good but always get flak, I am unable to understand why.

Abot being gay..I want to say that in the type of society we are becoming, its necessary to emphasize that boy and girl can be simply friends also and hugging is not the prerogative of lovers only:)

Tara: Thanks!

Trust you to see the positive in the worst...had read only bad reviews till day....had watched asimilar movie..almost similar..Ghost Town....so didnot watch this...but maybe will one day....Yes the invisible departed do feel the pain, the ties never do die .
Being gay....well friendship is a sheltering tree, so said somebody...the sex of two friends is not what counts, but the sacredness of the relationship is what counts. Yes, I too feel they should have not highlighted the gay factor...

Poonam J::):)..you have recognised me for what iam:)

No really its a very sweet movie,,with a different idea, I am fed up of watching all gloss movies with no substance, only clothes, sceneries and parties.
