I AM SORRY......

Visit Us @ www.MumbaiHangOut.Org
Pencil: I'm sorry....

Eraser:
For what? You didn't do anything wrong.

Pencil:
I'm sorry cos you get hurt bcos of me. Whenever I made a mistake,

you're always there to erase it. But as you make my mistakes vanish, you
lose a part of yourself. You get smaller and smaller each time.

Eraser:
That's true. But I don't really mind. You see, I was made to do this.

I was made to help you whenever you do something wrong. Even though one day,
I know I'll be gone and you'll replace me with a new one, I'm actually happy with
my job. So please, stop worrying. I hate seeing you sad. :)

I found this conversation between the pencil and the eraser very inspirational.

Parents are like the eraser whereas their children are the pencil. They're always
there for their children, cleaning up their mistakes. Sometimes along the way...
they get hurt, and become smaller (older, and eventually pass on). Though their
children will eventually find someone new (spouse), but parents are still happy
with what they do for their children, and will always hate seeing their precious ones worrying, or sad.

This is for all parents out there.....

Not for all the parents, but children too.

We children should make our parents happy in whatever way we can because we know what our parents have sacrificed and done anything to bring smiles to our faces.

What about the hurt one inflicts on their children, knowingly or unknowingly, who will erase it for the parents, I wonder.
There were times in my life when things got too much, and the only people around at that time were the children, so you had shown your irritation on them, but later in your life you feel bad about that, what do we do, though they have nothing against us now, but how to do we erase the past?
Good post Renu.

Enigma: I think most of the children bring happiness first just by their existence to parents and then by caring for them:)

SG:it is:)

Bikramjit: see all relationships are like that, one day you are at one end and other day you will be on the other end.

Chitra:I loved the meaning.

Chandrika shubham:its so true too.

Shades of Grey.Hey.seeing you after a long time. How are you?

Haddock:yes:)

NRI Girl:yes:)

Sandhya:Thats why I posted it:)

Rama:past can nevr be erased as such, but with children we can always make amends, by being extra caring, helping and loving and being non judgemental.Love conquers all.
