Blame

Just the other day I went to see an exhibition of Craft council in Valluvar kottam and saw some beautiful things crafted by hands. I felt bad that I do shop so many things abroad whereas we are getting such good things and at a fraction of price here only, the only problem is that  these can be found in exhibitions only..wish they make a permanent place for them like shilparamam in Hyderabad.

Today I see that youngsters are getting too sensitive and touchy about everything others say, whereas I( feel that it is the way we take it that matters, there are so many questions which are used only as small talk, and may not have that serious intonation like asking...
when are you having kids?....it doesnt mean that others intend to run your family decisions or anything..just starting a conversation....
When are are you going to complete the family?....its a universal truth that daughter and son both complete the family, but if one doesnt feel the same,no problem..its your life  and same way one cant be annoyed with others too who think like that....
When are you getting married?;;;;;;;;since these are some important natural stages in life like..first education and then career and then marriage..though today marriage has become redundant, once you are educated, people ask you about your career, and once you are employed the next step in settling down is marriage...so we cant say that nobody should ask us that, its like a big contradiction where we want even others to behave and talk what we want, whereas we ourselves should be totally free of everything...whe3re are we going with that intolerance?

Even in families people are getting totally intolerant of others, if you can increase my meter of enjoyment .you are in otherwise get out of my life.People who cared for their family, others, and even sometimes suffered for them are being branded old fashioned. We considered lot of extended family also  under the umbrella..our family, whereas today even spouse family is also extended one..family means only husband wife and kids..how narrow can we be?..I remember my childhood when my grandmother's sister will also came with children and stay with us and we all will enjoy a lot.and all elders will get the respect, no one younger to them talked back to them. Same in my inlaws place, there were so many people staying together, nobody even counted the nos, whatever was cooked was shared..and even my husband brought so many people home for food or any help they required,Even if he had called some people for his office work, so many times they had their food with us, I have hosted so many guests very distantly related that there was a time my children will say that what is the use of having our own room, as most of the time we have to give it to guests. But thats our culture..I wouldnt say that I enjoyed it all the time, but did it anyway considering it my duty and never said anything in front of any guest or anyone.today people cant tolerate even spouse parents......This was not our culture, and when i say its western effect, some people think that we blame west for every ill, but tell me were we like that from the beginning?

Credit living

American way of living is failing slowly slowly and here we are picking their habits , so thats going to be our future 20 years onward.what i found ridiculous over there was.....

Banks giving mortgage for 30 years, 40 years where payment years go beyond retirement. And giving loans to people beyond their capacity. In this area  I had an experience where I learned alot, Once I used to run a departmental store and there were many customers who will get tempted to buy the things and request me to give them on instalment and I being naive thought no harm in this and even felt happy that I am making sales, but..two cases I can point out where it was a clear mistake...
Giving a domestic maid earning 300/ month a credit of 1000/ is always wrong, she is going to be a defaulter and she did.
To a young girl working in a five star hotel, once I started giving, she had no end to her shopping of cosmetics and ultimately vanished without payment.
Business cant be done without some strong basic rules and log term perspective.

Secondly I saw people enjoying life like there was no tomorrow and that literally happened. The way people eat outside, go on trips and maintain the houses, it will make you feel pauper, but living on credit makes your future uncertain..our Indian way of living is much better where we believe in savings and assets. And I want our youngsters to follow that..today in a global world we cant live in our shell, others misdemeanours also affect us..so be wary of spending too much, life is not going to end tomorrow.......and enjoyment is not the sole purpose in life..think beyond that, bring some spirituality in your life.

Few thing I strongly believe in....

no credit living
not using paper to clean everything
No wastage of water.
eating out side, dont order more than you can eat, there is no harm in eating a little less.Dont waste at all.
Dont buy too many things..
.see the mail today I got.....I am feeling sorry for L& T, it was my favourite store...

didn't list those stores.

after its chief executive said there were no plans to cut the
number of its core retail stores, Home Depot Inc. announced

Sprint Nextel CEO, Dan Hesse, appears to have inherited a
company bleeding subscribers by the thousands, and will now
officially be dropping the axe on 4,000 employees and 125
retail locations. Amid the loss of 639,000 postpaid customers
in the fourth quarter, Sprint will be cutting a total of 6.7%
of its workforce (following the 5,000 layoffs last year) and
8% of company-owned brick-and-mortar stores, while remaining
mute on other rumors that it will consolidate its headquarters
in Kansas. Sprint Nextel shares are down $2.89, or nearly 25%,

of strategic alternatives for the urban-apparel brand.
Seventy-four underperforming Demo stores closed last May.

Sharper Image - the company recently filed for bankruptcy
protection and announced that 90 of its 184 stores are
closing. The retailer will still operate 94 stores to pay off
debts, but 90 of these stores have performed poorly and also may
close.

KB Toys posted a list of 356 stores that it is closing around
the United States as part of its bankruptcy reorganization. To
see the list of store closings, go to the KB Toys Information
Web site, and click on Press Information.

SHAGIRD

Yesterday i saw Shaagird, actually I have a certain respect for director..Tigmanshu Dhulia, so as soon as I heard about this movie, it was on my to see list, and he didnt disappoint me...The movie is about a police officer Nana Patekar in Crime branch. For a change he is not an honest officer, but a normal one..corrupt though efficient one and works in cahoots with politician.Jakir Hussain.A New boy..Mohit Ahlawat joins under him.....The treatment of every character is just perfect and they look natural and impressive except  Mohit..he spoils the tempo by his wooden face and unimpressive personality. Its a very tightly edited movie, fast one, with some twists all the time.Rimi Sen as  journalist is also fits in.I liked the movie very much and would say that its worth a watch..the way police works and how money corrupts everybody, but corruption and dishonesty never pays in the end result. This is the first movie where hero..if you can call Mohit that, has been a loser in life till he got appointed there..And heroine is not his girl friend..there are many different things here that way....definitely worth a watch..

SINGHAM.This one is like old time movies good, honest cop versus bad criminals turned politicians..and solution is always..maardhaad...good thing about this movie is Ajay Devgan and Prakash Raj, both have acted very well. But Kajaal agrawal has a small role and there also she disappoints completely, doesnt have that chutzpah..that star quality which makes it worth watching, the way Asin was in Ghazni..

Now a days I am watching Rules of Engagement on Star World and liking it.

75Th year celebration

yesterday we had a 75th year celebration of a senior person and it was such an emotional experience as his son planned everything sitting in US and came here suddenly and gave him a surprise, now coming from abroad is not such a big thing for wealthy families, but just the thought that someone took so much of interest in something to make his father happy..that was special.
And yesterday in the same hotel.Chennai super kings and Mumbai Indians were also staying:), though i am not fond of cricket, but as for far as getting a chance to see any celebrity is concerned, i am no different...but alas, could see their bags only:).
One4 thing I have seen about myself that i am very particular about treating everybody well and with respect, but if someone misbehaves with me inspite of that, my anger knows no boundaries, I get furious and if I could I would kick that person out..today i did it.you see
I had a maid who is a widow and quite poor, so she had a very special place in my heart and I used to go all the way to help her and be accommodating,
she wanted to go to her daughter's for 12 days for delivery, I said fine,
if she got sick or had anything else, I dint mind at all...thats with me, I dont mind my servants taking leave, and I never deduct their salaries too, the only condition is that take leave with prior information to me
I went abroad and she couldnt come at changed timings, even that was fine,
she wanted advance for three months, I gave her
but now she said she would come late ,very late because she had to fetch a girl from school in the other house she is working..now that s not my concern, and on top of that when I got angry she said I am free to keep any other one if I am not happy..that just flew my handle..if one is wrong, one must be polite,on one hand you are taking advantage from someone,on the other hand, you are trying to be arrogant, and then when i said..work to pay off my advance and then leave, she had the guts to say that she will leave now and pay my advance even if she had to pawn something....as if I am at fault....why people behave like that....being in the wrong and then arrogant.its sure combination for disaster..anywhere everywhere....
I have felt that labour is not in that position because of their exploitation only, they dont rise because they dont have that sincerity and integrity towards their job, which educated people have..they take their profession very lightly..everything else.... neighbour's funeral, marriage of a distant relative or any function in their village, all are very important, its only their employer who can be taken for granted...and they keep going in job from this person to another.and most of the time they consider kind people as naive ones who can be taken advantage of..
And rudesness and arrogance in a guilty person totally puts me off..sent her home:)

Emotional connect

A was brought up with lots of love and care. And her parents instilled discipline and good values too and made her understand the difference between right and wrong. They themselves worked really hard to give good upbringing to their children. And she was an intelligent and hardworking child..so all that combined brought her lot of praise , that became her motivation also to do better in life. And by god's grace she got a good education and settled well in life..so far.everything as normally happens.
Now she can remember only what her parents didnt do for her,What more they could do or should have done, she has forgotten all that they did,and all the sacrifices they made, she gives no credit to her parents for anything in her life, she is today what she is because of herself only. she always tries to find fault in her parents today and yesterday. She does everything for her parents what a good child should do, but that EMOTIONAL CONNECT is not there, and her parents get not much satisfaction.....and happiness with her being....
Difference in perception makes all the difference in life.

B was as brought up with lots of love and care and pampering too . her parents never denied her any desire, be it right or wrong..fulfilled her every demand without ever asking her to do anything or telling her the boundaries. She grew up to be a total lazy, pampered spoiled brat, who couldnt think beyond herself.Life was only meant for enjoyment.A grown up girl like that can never bring happiness to others, but here EMOTIONAL CONNECT  with parents is too much, she thinks highly of her parents and respects them a lot but makes them feel humiliated many times due to her arrogant, rude and self centred behaviour to others.....
Righteousness is also important in life.

C was brought up with love and care but discipline too in a normal middle class family, where parents are never perfect but try to do their best for their children. Her parents instilled discipline values everything to the core, and sometime were too strict in their zeal to follow her academics. But then she grew up to be a good human being and good in academics too and there is that EMOTIONAL CONNECT too with her parents, because she always remembers only good things from the past, never the shortcomings of her parents, is always thankful to her parents for giving her good values etc. she values her family and others too and brings lot of pleasure and satisfaction to her parents.

D was brought up with total freedom,as her parents were busy in their social life and it suited them to T. The child ate what he wanted and when he wanted, and same for studies.though parents helped her there, but there were no rules or discipline there....but then she grew up to be totally irreverent person, who doesnt listen to anybody, eats junk food, has spoiled her health, and she does what she wants.

I can give you many different type of examples and I have written in feminine gender, but it applies to all..and the inference I could make is.....
One must not judge parents..leave at least one relationship alone.accept it as it is unless one has abusing parent s or anything in extreme.Parents blessings are very important for your happy life. They are not going to live forever and then everyone misses them.If you cant make them happy, then atleast dont hurt them....thru your words or deeds.Let them be.

Loving doesnt mean giving all the time.....this only makes the children suffer in their adult life, their self esteem goes down when they dont get any appreciation or respect from others..tell your children to give also and some discipline and values in life are always important.I agree that some children come out very well if left to themselves, but there is no harm in taking precautions and being a little careful....

Its very important to look after your child's food habits, as childhood is very important for long term health. It is the time they grow and make their body.

I know that in spite of doing everything sometimes nothing comes out well, whereas sometimes giving total freedom also augurs well, but they are all aberrations, otherwise good efforts always  bring good results.and freedom should be given only at the proper age when they can take the responsibilities that come with freedom...I always remember a story where ....
A child steals little little things from his childhood and mother never says anything ,just ignores and he grows up to be a con man and then when he is caught in a big crime, she slaps him hard, the man says that  instead of now, if you had slapped me in my childhood only, I would havent become a thief......
That's what I see today, many grownups are slapped by destiny today whereas they should have been slapped in their childhood  by parents.

Degrading the people

One thing irritates me a lot that most of the people take dig at some unprivileged people or the people who are not influential.
like in Bollywood, everybody can take the name of Mallika Sherawat for wearing less clothes, but is she the only one? all our top heroines have done all sort of roles and wore less, but now they have reached a position, so they are beyond reach....Even today all of them be it Kareena, Bipasha, Deepika, they all wear everything as and when they want, but nobody dares to point a finger at them.

Karan Johar has reduced his  respect a lot by taking such names like Mallika , Rakhee sawant on his show and on Simi's also. I think that one doesnt become big by exploiting the underprivileged, rather in respecting one and all and saying the truth. If you have courage then take the name of bigwigs also, or keep quiet.

I am not a fan of Mallika or Rakhee.No... but I dont like picking on the people who are rising from the scratch, come from a different background(read lower strata), and I respect their courage and struggle in life. They have reached there by their sheer hard work, they didnt have anyone to help them, support them. And I find it in real bad taste to see people from affluent families and privileged back grounds making fun of them. If you want to have fun at the cost of people, then take on somebody from your own level and then see......

Karan johar only encouraged  Deepika and Sonam to say everything about Ranbir kapor, and see the noise made by his parents and all the boycotts etc etc

QUEENSLAND AMUSEMENT PARK

This is one of the theme park I was thinking of going for long, as my hubby keeps going to that side and he always wanted to go there and this was the first outing he planned:).rest of the time its me who keeps planning.
It is located on Bangalore route and took us around one hour to reach there. It is a huge place full of greenery.my favourite and beautiful place even to stroll around. Entry fee is Rs 350/adult and 50/ for camera. All rides inside are included in entree fee.One is given the map of park with the tickets.
There are many rides, some for kids only and some for family. There was a free fall, and i was too scared to go there.first one I tried Alpen Blitz.sort of roller coaster..good one, speed is not too much, but tilting is, and they keep you stationery for some seconds in that position to get the thrill..that was a little straining for me.Then we had cable ride.it is a beautiful one for 30 minutes.Everywhere there are food stalls and at reasonable rates.food was good,I took only some snacks and kulfi, as after having a full lunch I never can enjoy the rides.
The best ride I enjoyed was Himalyan Mountain ride. Here the round rafts go on water, in a  tunnel too..it was real fun and then Centrox.it looked awesome..people sit in a circle and that wheel goes up and down and spins and all.
All in all good fun and i would recommend it to all.

free fall tower
cable car
swimming pool and american wave pool
bumper boats
Alpen blitz
Then we went to see retirement Expo in Chennai trade centre...There all organisations whether they call themselves social welfare or builders or businessman, are offering the cottages, where their maintenance and other bills are  at floating rate, but think about it, retired people who are going there, how will they manage the increase in future, as they are not earning, their savings are same..so they are defeating the purpose..to be retired people friendly, their model has to be no profit type, something with a provision that one has to pay the same fees and expenses for life time, they can increase it for new entrants only..Most of them are taking deposit.non refundable sort,so they must manage with that.

UNIVERSITY OF SUCCESS BY OG MANDINO

I was given this book by Mr. Raman, his choice in books is very eclectic and good too.he only introduced me to Frozen thoughts too. This book has some 50 lessons about success.what and how?.I am chronicling some thoughts expressed by the writer for my future reference, if you are interested you may read them....

  • .The most thoughtful among us conclude at last that personal success must exist inside it if it is to exist at all.The first constant factor is purpose. Aimlessness is the worst enemy of success. In growing up each of us must learn sooner or later that everyday is not Christmas and so every effort cant be crowned in glory.
  • Feeling sorry for yourself and your present condition,is not only a waste of energy but the worst habit you could possibly have.Think of all we have to be grateful for and thank god for all our boons and bounties.Stop worrying and start living.
  • There are seeds of destruction in all of us that will bear only unhappiness if allowed to grow.
  • The practice of blaming others accounts not only for half our failures but also for our failure to cash in on our failure.
  • No goal is bad enough but having low goals is worse.and choosing the wrong goals is worst.Hard work is only rarely pleasurable.but conquest -of matter, mind or soul is pleasurable,it is conducive to well being and happiness.
  • The longest way round is not always the shortest way home.too often if you wait or travel too long, you never reach home.
  • Victory looses its value unless we use it as a means to even greater ends.To succeed means that you may have to step out of the line and march to the sound of your own drummer.
  • We frequently use diversions in our lives as a tool to avoid direct confrontation with our innermost feelings, and to avoid accepting total responsibility for who we are and what we do. Our approach is ..outside in. Instead of working on what is going inside us, we try to rearrange things around us.
  • The only qualification for success is that you be you, that you utilise whatever combination of talent you posses to the fullest extent possible.Do not spend your life waiting for that big break, dont rely on luck, make your own.The only thing that stands between a man and what he wants is often merely the will to try it and faith to believe that it is possible.
  • success in life comes not from holding a good hand but playing a poor hand well.Success is not due to a fortuitous concourse of stars at our birth but to a steady tail of sparks from the grind stone of hard work each day..
  • A sense of purpose simplifies life and therefore concentrates our our abilities and concentration adds power.Greatness consists not in the holding of some future office, but really consists in doing great deeds with little means and accomplishment of vast purposes from the private ranks of life.
  • To desire is to obtain, to aspire is to achieve. Your vision is the promise of what you shall be one day. Your Ideal is the prophecy of what you shall at last unveil. Dreams are the seedlings of realities.
  • Use rightly the power to choose.
  • Self confidence is more narrowly focused on a particular skill or type of situation, self esteem is deeper feeling that you have about yourself, about your value as a person. Chances are that a person who blows his horn all the time is pretty near to the lower end of the self esteem scale.
  • Chronic resentment leads to a self pity because the  resentful person feels he is a victim of injustice.
  • We make our habits and then they make us.
  • A certain amount of pressure is necessary for health. Cowardice stems from clutching desperately for a success we feel we dont deserve. Success means the courage to flow, struggle change, grow and being true to you.
  • The parent, who is raising his kid to think the world is going to give him a hug and a kiss everytime he turns around..is killing the kid now.
  • A goal is an objective you want to achieve, and plan is a specific way of reaching that goal. without goals and plans you are like a ship set on sail without destination.and above all be flexible, dont hesitate to change your goals or plans, after all you are not adding to pressures of your life, but focus.......(continued)

Don't Mess with Mom

Have some fun:)

My son came home from school one day,
with a smirk upon his face.
He'd decided he was smart enough,
to put me in my place.

"Guess what I learned in Civics Two,
that's taught by Mr. Wright?
It's all about the laws today,
The "Children's Bill of Rights."

It says I need not clean my room,
don't have to cut my hair.
No one can tell me what to think,
or speak, or what to wear.

I have freedom from religion,
and regardless what you say,
I don't have to bow my head,
and I sure don't have to pray.

I can wear earrings if I want,
and pierce my tongue & nose.
I can read & watch just what I like,
and get tattoos from head to toes.

And if you ever spank me,
I'll charge you with the crime.
I'll back up all my charges,
with the marks on my behind.

Don't you ever touch me,
my body's only for my use,
not for your hugs and kisses,
that's just more child abuse.

Don't preach about your morals,
like your mama did to you.
That's nothing more than mind control,
And it's illegal too!

Mom, I have these children's rights,
so you can't influence me,
or I'll call Children's Services Division,
better known as C.S.D. "

Of course my first instinct was
To toss him out the door
But the chance to teach a lesson
made me think a little more.

I mulled it over carefully,
I couldn't let this go.
A smile crept upon my face,
he's messing with a pro.

The next day I took him shopping
at the local Goodwill Store
I told him, "Pick out all you want,
there's shirts & pants galore.

I've called and checked with C.S.D.,
who said they didn't care
if I bought you K-Mart shoes
instead of those Nike Airs.

And I've canceled that appointment
to take your driver's test.
The C.S.D. is unconcerned
so I'll decide what's best."

I said "No time to stop and eat,
or pick up stuff to munch.
And tomorrow you can start to learn
to make your own sack lunch.

Just save that raging appetite,
and wait 'til dinner time.
We're having liver and onions,
a favorite dish of mine."

He asked "Can I please rent a movie,
To watch on my VCR?"
"Sorry, but I sold your TV,
for new tires on my car.

I also rented out your room,
you'll take the couch instead.
The C.S.D. requires
just a roof above your head.

Your clothing won't be trendy now,
and I'll choose what we eat.
That allowance that you used to get,
will buy me something neat.

I'm selling off your jet ski,
dirt-bike & roller blades.
Check out the "Parent's Bill of Rights,"
It's in effect today!

Hey hot shot, are you crying,
and why are you on your knees?
Are you asking God to help you out,
instead of C.S.D.?"

SHRAADH

Today Shraadh are starting and someone was discussing it that why we do so much for our inlaws who may not have done even anything for us, but why are the girls not allowed to do any after death tradition for their own parents.who must have done so much for them. My take on that is...
Every system has certain rules and if they are followed society works well as that is true for everything in life.Earlier parents never taught their daughters to disregard their in laws and look after their own parents.Rather they were happier if their daughters got established themselves in their sasuraal and took their responsibilities seriously. And after marriage they were supposed to belong to their inlaws and make their family there only..that was their own house, not parents home.
And for anything in life its not instant or accurate give and take, we take from some and we give to some and the balance comes, It cant be to the same person or same thing..our parents loves us unconditionally and we love our children in the same way and cycle goes on. We look after our inlaws, our Sisterinlaws look after our parents....and those who didnt have sons..well its their destiny, its god who decides that not we..there are some who dont have any children, they also live happily.
Showing love doesnt mean we compare the relations, we can never make our parent proud of us by doing so.But we can certainly make them respected by behaving well, working hard and be a good well mannered human being.I see so many girls behaving so abominably with their inlaws and pining for their own parents, they dont know that by doing so they are humiliating their own parents, as society doubts their sanskaars and puts a question mark on their values which are given to them by their parents.
Earlier the society was very decisive..after marriage, daughters were neither given any right, nor asked to do any duties...today is the transition ..period..where nothing is definite. Every system has certain flaws and it was earlier too, but instead of removing them everybody wanted to discard the system and bring a new one without realising that flaws are intrinsic part of most of the systems and it is individual who are responsible for them, not the system So changing the system doesnt change anything except that now victim and perpetrators change..and problems remain the same....

service providers in India

Now in India we get everything which was not earlier available but after sales service is pathetic and its not given much importance whereas to me it is one of the most important criteria while buying things.

I am using airtel..mobile and broad band connection both and I face many problems like..
they automatically subscribe to caller tunes or other some such service and deduct the money, now I am harassed like anything to mail them, call them and again and again to stop it and refund the amount, they refund first day in the morning and restart same day in the evening.......and one has to call them again and again and its such a wastage of time and money too, as for the last part of call they charge...
Then they deduct at the wrong rates for STD and then I keep quiet,as I dont find the strength to complain all the time..why such big companies resort to such service or I would call it cheating, as there are many customers who cant complain all the time, and so bear the cost of such frills though undemanded and needed.
Then even for broadband they charge the amount even for the days I wasnt home.and their bills show that it was used on those dates, now how could that be?, I dont know if anything can be more ridiculous than that

Even in the hospitals, they are getting so commercial..yesterday I went to Apollo Chennai, and it was crowded like a railway station and now they have posted a guard at the gate.a la hotel who salutes you every time you enter.its so irritating to see him..helloooooo this is a hospital..
And then secretaries to doctors are so arrogant and rude..last time I went, she told me that for new patients one can get the appointment, but for old ones appointment is available after 4 months only..what is this..I am sick today, so how can I wait for another 4 months..its better not give to new ones, they will go to someone else, but no, that way they will loose the customer..yes thats they way they treat patients...they charge highly for every service, but what they provide is service without a smile and in a hurry...In a commercial world, we cant complain about the charges and we have to pay whatever they demand, but then we can demand a good service atleast..they must treat the patients with respect and give them time, but one gets none of these..it looks like as if they are doing charity.

Yesterday was Onam, and I saw everywhere women dressed up in those cream sarees..how lovely they look, next on my shopping list is one kerala saree..everywhere there was a beautiful pookolam. Now Isphanai centre has two new cafes , and madras cafe serving new innovative dishes and at a reasonable price also. There I saw a shop selling good purses and hand bags, brought here from UK, a designer named David Jones I think..they were quite good. The best thing about coming back home is looking at people decked up in beautiful sarees.such a pleasure to eyes:)

Bomb blasts

Again Bomb blast in New Delhi.and we hear the same statement from politicians, and their visits and they will pay some money to dead and wounded and it goes on......what purpose it solves for terrorists to harm common people..see they are not important in India.
Why they keep the terrorist alive to give them a bargaining point? or to have some more casualties and strife?
Its time public rose against politicians and demand that all criminals be punished and done so fast..as delayed justice is not a justice..No mercy petitions be considered for people who have committed a crime against state or individuals....crime is a crime and specially the ones premeditated, and no pardon for that.
Amar Singh in jail..where is his bade bhaiya now?

YAmla Pagla Deewana

this weekend I saw two movies and both were special in their own way.Let me tell you about them.
PYAR KA PANCHNAMMA...when i started watching this one, I thought they should have taken some known faces, but then the the characters grew on me. This is the story of three friends..Rajat, Nishant and Vikrant..all young , working and always thinking that if they had a girl friend, their life would be a bliss, and lo..First Rajat gets one and he says to others...however bad the day may be but when in the evening she hugs me everything becomes fine:) and I am so happy...etc etc, Then Nishant gets a friend who has a boy friend but wants to have a best friend also.modern girls idea of having everything. And Vikrant gets friendly with a girl who has just broken up a 5 year old relationship and still in the process and then she is the type who goes to party with one boy and comes back with another..and now the real life starts....and they see the ugly side of love..how the girls exploit the boys, make them feel like dog and ultimately they have no life ..either the girls are happy or relationship ends, so ultimately they end it...The scene where Rajat bursts is outstanding, movie is so real with all the situations and everything as they happen..the only draw back is that it takes only man's point of view, other point is never shown, all boys are exploited in some way or other, and all girls are mean and calculating.. I.wish that out of three couples at least one was such that girl was good and boy manipulating, would have looked balanced..I laughed so much at some scenes, as I see this type of girls so much like....
girls want to live near and with their parents but dont like if boys want to do so.
They want to control the boys but themselves want to remain independent and need space.
They can humiliate the boys any time but for themselves they need decorum and love  and what not.
They will share everything  about boys with their parents and act according to their advice but say that boys are mama's boys.
and the best thing was when he said..that they sms..I love u, I sms it back, then they sms long messages, dont know how they do their jobs, now should I do my job or reply, both ways I am done..people say behind very successful man there is a women, but behind every unsuccessful man also there is a woman and their no is much greater than the first ones.
It is must see:)

YAMLA PAGLA DEEWANA.This is a comedy without much logic. It is about Sunny deol married to a Canadian and settled in Vancouver .His father Dharmendra took his two month old brother Bobby and ran away and then his mother came to her brothers in Canada and settled there. Dharmendra and Bobby Deol both are con persons and hilarity ensues when Sunny deol goes to India to bring them back. Treatment is very new and fast all with sunny paaji' dhai kilo ka Haath which breaks walls, opens ATMs stops car.and the scenes with his Canadian wife and kids are very enjoyable and sweet.Kulraj is also good as love interest of Bobby. The scenes in Punjab are full of fun as they show the importance of NRI and English over  there..All in all an enjoyable movie with beautiful scenes of Benaras.Bobby Deol has done very well.
